Noni Fruit at The Pleasant Garden

The Noni is a delicious fruit that can have a vomit-like smell, weird right? Noni grows from a Morinda citrifolia tree, which is relative to the coffee family. Known as a famine fruit because of its horrible smell, indigenous people used to only eat this fruit during times of emergency. This fruit can now be seen in curry or eaten raw with salt. The seeds can also be roasted and eaten! If you’d like to learn more about the Noni, click the link below! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Morinda_citrifolia
